Situated in south-west Scotland near the town of Dumfries, the Newlands shoot portfolio offers classic shooting over four different Estates with the focal point of the days being Newlands House.Parties stay at Newlands which offers luxurious accommodation for up to 9 couples, all with their own bathrooms. You are the guests of Andrew and Lady Eileen Duncan, who go out of their way to make everyone feel at home. Teams enjoy complete use of a finely appointed house, including a full sized snooker table. Our cooks are fully experienced in catering for all tastes and we use home bred beef and lamb as well as locally sourced produce wherever possible. A full bar is available and all drinks are included in your price. Mostly French wines are served with meals and Andrew has a fine cellar of vintage port. The nearest airports are either Glasgow or Edinburgh, both approximately 1 hours away. Alternatively, private planes can land at Carlisle, just 45 minutes away. There is now an excellent train service between London Euston and Carlisle, which takes approximately 3.5 hours. Guests can be met and we delighted to help with travel suggestions and plans.
