Glendelvine has been the home of the Lyle family, baronets of Glendelvine, for over 100 years. The estate lies along the banks of the Tay to the south with fertile arable lands leading to undulating and hilly ground to the north. Miss Ballantine’s famous 64lb salmon was caught on the Glendelvine water and remains the record salmon caught by rod and line in the UK. The shoot is largely retained by the family with the ground showing high and challenging birds. Bags of 100 -200 pheasants are available providing a single or double day of shooting. Glendelvine sits in a beautiful part of Perthshire with wonderful views and trees. Lunches are a cosy affair in a wood lined bothy with an aga and open fire.

Situated in south-west Scotland near the town of Dumfries, the Newlands shoot portfolio offers classic shooting over four different Estates with the focal point of the days being Newlands House.Parties stay at Newlands which offers luxurious accommodation for up to 9 couples, all with their own bathrooms. You are the guests of Andrew and Lady Eileen Duncan, who go out of their way to make everyone feel at home. Teams enjoy complete use of a finely appointed house, including a full sized snooker table. Our Keepers form a dedicated team who work tirelessly to ensure you will enjoy a shooting experience you will not forget in a hurry. They have developed over 30 Drives allowing Feathers At Altitude to cater for all levels from beginners to very experienced shots. Indeed some of our drives challenge even the best of these experienced shots! Our shoot has built a strong reputation on its relaxed and friendly atmosphere and we are sure that this will add to your day too. Starting mid September with Partridge on hill ground and introducing Pheasants in November, we have dates available right through to the end of January. We welcome full teams and also often require individual guns – or sometimes 2, 3 or 4 – to make up full teams. In short, tell us your requirements and we’ll work something out. While many of our clients take double days ranging from 200 to 300 birds each day, we willingly accommodate single days too. Our 200+ bird days include lunch and drinks and while we do not provide Elevenses, you are most welcome to enjoy your own. Feathers At Altitude also offer Rough Shooting Days and again we will be pleased to discuss your requirements.
