06/08/2010

The fair offers a diversity of entertainments and activities for all of the family, from crèche facilities to archery! The emphasis is on field sports activities with competitions in fly casting, gun dog handling and clay pigeon shooting. See also, General Information.

Take your pets for the day and children can enter them into the children's pets parade or, if you have a terrier, try out the terrier races. Please note that only "ground terriers" will be eligible for entry. Activities in the main ring differ from year to year but you may see gun dog or fly-casting demonstrations, pipe bands, falconry displays, and much more.

Tickets for the event cost £10 per person - children under 16 are free and so is the car parking!

There is an abundance of stalls selling the best of Scottish produce and there could be anything from traditional fare such as Venison to Arbroath Smokies, or you could purchase a Scottish made dog harness or walking stick.
